basic rates

• Our base in-studio photography rate ranges from $100-$250 per image, depending on the size of your project. In general, larger projects will be costed out at a more favorable per-image rate. This rate includes basic product preparation, simple staging, white background or small form factor lifestyle studio photography, and basic retouching. Please note that if your image requires multiple images to create, each portion of the collage may be billed as a separate image.

• Our base in-studio food photography rate ranges from $100-$250 per image, plus the cost of ingredients. This rate includes ingredient procurement and cooking, as well as everything listed in our basic photography rate.

• Our base infographic rate starts at $100 per project. This rate covers projects of up to ten images and includes simple design services. Copywriting must be provided or can be purchased separately if needed. Depending on the number of revisions required and the complexity of the infographics, the cost of this service may vary. If you’d like a more accurate quote, just send us some examples of the kind of work you’d like done.

• Our base in-studio hand modeling rate is $100 per shoot. This rate covers projects of up to ten images and includes the services of our in-house model, who can provide partial body or hand modeling. A flat $200 per day rate will be applied to off-site shoots utilizing our in-house model or more extensive studio shoots.

• Our revision policy is as follows: we’re more than happy to revise images due to an error on our part (e.g., if we’ve missed a specific request, for example). However, if images have to be re-shot entirely and cannot be revised through post-production alone, any creative change requests or additional instructions may come at an additional cost to cover our time as well as any extra overhead (e.g. additional modeling fees, single-use props, etc.). The best way to avoid this is to schedule some time to be present with us during your shoot (via a live camera feed or video call) to allow you to provide us with direct feedback.

If you would prefer to arrange a day rate, just let us know, and we’d be happy to discuss options! Our day rates are dependent on the nature of your requests but generally range from $1,200-$2,600 per day. For larger projects, this is usually a more favorable arrangement. Post-production day rates range from $1,000-$1,500 per day.

We understand that not every project will fit into the structure of our basic rates. Not to worry! We’re always happy to work with you to build a project that meets your unique needs. In fact, the thought of helping you put together something special really excites us! Here are some of the services we offer above and beyond our basic offerings. • Professional-Level Modelling Services: Need a variety of models or someone with a specific look? We offer professional-level modelling services through a well-regarded local talent agency. Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll make an enquiry on your behalf! As far as pricing is concerned, we’ll simply pass on the costs. Exact pricing generally depends on the model you select and the length of time required to complete the shoot, but the average cost of a Swish models is roughly $100/h, all-in. Additional services such as hair, makeup and wardrobe styling can be quoted separately.

• Customized Photography Services and Props: Have a really neat idea in mind or requirements that might need a little extra TLC? Does your project require specific props or locations? Just let us know and we’ll work with you to design a highly customized project that meets your needs. Whether you need us to find and rent the right location, source something, or hire out additional services, we’re committed to helping you make your idea into a reality!

• Recipe Development and Photography Services: With a Red Seal Certified chef on staff, years of culinary R&D experience, and a studio kitchen, we’re fully equipped to help you develop, test, and photograph just about any recipe you can think of! We’ve worked with influencers, restaurants, kitchenware companies, and even multinational ingredient manufacturers. Just tell us what you have in mind and we’ll find a way to make it!

• Professional Retouching Services: Does the image you have in mind require some Photoshop magic? Let us know - there’s a good chance we can help! More intensive editing and retouching work can be quoted on a case by case basis.
